Everything belongs to God. Rather than giving a tenth and using nine-tenths, we get to give a portion to God (directly) and manage it all for his glory.

No. Giving isn’t a requirement to belong here. You don’t earn your place in this community. We give as a response to God, not as a condition for being part of church.

No. God doesn’t love you more if you give. You’re already fully loved and accepted. But giving does grow something in you, trust, obedience, and a deeper dependence on God. 

Then don’t start with 10%. Start somewhere. Giving isn’t about getting it perfect; it’s about learning to trust God step by step. That’s why we’ve created the 10 Month Tithe Challenge, to help you grow into it over time. 

Into what God is doing through the church. Your giving helps people find and follow Jesus, build strong healthy community, and reach into communities and beyond. It’s not about covering costs, it’s about fuelling the mission God has given us. 

In most cases, giving goes into the life and ministry of the church as a whole. At times, there are opportunities to give toward specific initiatives or vision moments, but everything ultimately serves the same mission. 

Yes, and it’s actually one of the easiest ways to stay consistent. Set up your giving as recurring on your banking app so that it is intentional. 

That’s a fair question. We take that seriously. We are committed to integrity, accountability, and wise stewardship in how finances are handled. Clear financial policies and processes are in place, we operate within approved budgets, and our finances are managed by a dedicated finance team who are accountable to leadership. This stewardship is further strengthened through an annual audit.  Giving is worship, and we treat it with that level of responsibility. 

That’s okay. Everyone starts somewhere. You don’t have to have it all figured out, just take a step. Even a small one. That’s why we’ve created the 10 Month Tithe Challenge, to help you grow into it over time. 

Offerings are always voluntary and are an act of worship and obedience, given with joy and faith. We encourage everyone to participate, but the amount and method are between you and God. Scripture encourages giving according to one's means and with a cheerful heart, not out of compulsion. This means individuals should give generously from what they have, based on the blessings they have received, without feeling pressured about the act of giving. The emphasis is on personal, heartfelt decision and a cheerful spirit rather than a one-size-fits-all amount.  This can apply to anyone, including children, youth, students and pensioners. They don’t have to wait until they finish school or get a “real job.”

No. Not at all. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says that “God loves a cheerful giver.” Giving should come from willingness, not pressure. If it feels forced, it’s okay to pause and process that. 

There are also those individuals or groups who exercise their “gift of giving” and commit themselves to strategically invest resources to leave a lasting legacy that has long term impact and benefits future generations. Sometimes this is also achieved through the investment of resources through substantial financial contributions and estate planning. 

This is about making choices that matter forever – being sacrificially generous, serving, and sharing Jesus. As 2 Corinthians 4:18 says: “We fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen… for the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
