Preparation and Discussion for Group Time:

  1. Ps Daniel shared what was significant about Pentecost in both the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament as we see in Exodus chapters 22-24 talks about the law, and we see how God made a covenant to fulfill this law. In the New Testament, we see how God again brings fulfillment by Jesus’ death and resurrection and this brings us into a right relationship with God.
What has been significant for you on these 50 days (7 weeks) journey in your own life? Share with the group what has changed in your relationship with God.
  2. Ps. Daniel showed us 3 ways to live as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit:
    • The Holy Spirit empowers me to live in right relationship with God (Galatians 5:18; Jer 31:31-33; Romans 8:9)
    • The Holy Spirit empowers me to live extraordinarily (John 10:10 and John 14:12)
    • The Holy Spirit empowers us to live on Mission (Matthew 28)
Share with the group what God has been saying to you about these areas of your life and how we are called to live, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Check out: Share what God has been saying to you about your own personal next steps to grow as we are called to live out Matthew 28:19-20
