Run Together!
Week 3: Worship Together!
Purpose: To live a lifestyle of praise with an outward expression for others to see the goodness of God.
Worship: Listen to the song throughout the week or at group I raise a hallelujah by Bethel Worship. Take time to give God praise for all He is and all He has done in your life!
Here is the link to our worship playlist. Find time during the week to spend in worship – in awe and abandonment with God.
Check-In: Share with the group what stood out to you as you shared with someone in the past week about God’s love for you.
Bible Readings: John 4:23; Matthew 15: 8-9; Psalm 100: 1-5; Hebrew 12:28-29; Psalm 95:6; 2 Samuel 6:14 (NKJV); 2 Sam 6:21-22 (NLT); Psalm 27:4; Hosea 2:19-20.
Preparation and Discussion for Group Time:
- What has challenged you from Run Together over the past 3 weeks that you have or want to put into practice in your daily life?
- What does God desire from you and me as worshippers, as people of praise?
- Allocate each of these sets of verses to group members to read and comment on what they say about praise: Matthew 15: 8-9; Psalm 100: 1-5; Hebrew 12:28-29; Psalm 95:6; 2 Samuel 6:14 (NKJV); 2 Sam 6:21-22 (NLT); Psalm 27:4; Hosea 2:19-20.
- What does it mean to worship God with awe, with abandonment and with intimacy look like for you personally in all areas of your life?
- Daniel said, “True praise comes from deep in the heart, and the outcome is that others see God working in us”. That implies that praise doesn’t just happen when we sing in a church building. How might such praise be seen by others, without it being an offensive act and putting on a show?
Check out and Prayer time: Share one specific action you plan to take this week to increase your praise levels as an outward expression of love for others to see the goodness of God.
Take time to express your thankfulness to God and praise Him for His goodness towards you.
Others: Next Sunday is our Thanksgiving Service and it’s a time to celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness to us! As an expression of our gratitude to Him, we can come together and show practical love to others this Christmas.
This year, we are partnering with various organizations in meeting the needs of the vulnerable.
To find out more about the specifics, visit our Thanksgiving page on our website where you could also sign up to serve.
Daily Practices to follow:
Memorize Psalm 27:4 (NLT). Read this verse daily, and journal what God is saying to you.
